THERAPEUTIC EXERCISES

The correct exercises – regularly applied – work wonders

Life means constant movement adaptation of our musculoskeletal system. Our bodies adjust to our daily routines all the time, like a plant orienting its position to the sun.

This is an essential evolutionary process, but in this day and age, it often leads to a range of problems.

Most of us spend a large part of our lives sitting down. Our musculoskeletal system struggles with this, whether we try to get a high-intensity sports programme under our belt after work or just collapse on the sofa in the evening.

Many muscles experience a considerable shortening while others suffer various types of atrophy. A contributing factor are the frequently one-sided movements of certain sports, but sometimes the body is no longer able to get to a certain range of motion, which quickly leads to pain or injury.

After resolving blockages and treating sticky fascia with manual therapy, the best way to a pain-free day-to-day life is a individually tailored programme of therapeutic exercises, consisting of subtle stretching, contraction and mobilisation exercises, which have to be practiced regularly in combination with correct breathing techniques. This will lead to surprising results and restore musculoskeletal balance in the body.

I have an appointment once a month. I get treatment and also tips and exercises to do at home. My back pain has vastly improved, even though I sit at a desk every day.

Everyone said there’s nothing to be done but operate. Then Georg Platzer was recommended to me. I was initially sceptical, but now I’m doing extremely well.
